Last night at 21:00, a first conversation was held between Nada Mouawad, Lebanon’s ambassador to the US, Yechiel Leiter, Israel’s ambassador to the US, and Michael Issa, the US ambassador to Lebanon.
It was agreed that a meeting between the parties will be held at the US State Department in Washington this coming Tuesday, during which they will discuss the ceasefire in Lebanon as well as the date for the start of direct negotiations between Israel and Lebanon.
