عباس مسجدی رئیس سازمان پزشکی قانونی روز پنجشنبه ۲۰ فروردین در حاشیه مراسم چهلم کشته شدن علی خامنه‌ای رهبر پیشین جمهوری اسلامی گفت: «بیش از ۳ هزار نفر در حملات آمریکا و اسرائیل در سراسر کشور کشته شدند که حدود ۴۰ درصد پیکرها قابل شناسایی نبود.»
او نوع حملات و سلاح‌های به کار گرفته را دلیل این موضوع خواند و مدعی شد آنها با استفاده از ظرفیت‌های موجود در سازمان پزشکی قانونی شناسایی شدند.
